In Memoriam

We have lost many Tribal Leaders and partners over the last few years. ATNI wishes to acknowledge the passing of members of the ATNI community at the ATNI 2026 Annual Convention on Thursday, September 17, 2026.

Please complete this form by Wednesday, September 16 at 4:00 PM with the names of lost loved ones in the past two years (We understand that some families request that we not post the names or photos of those who have passed until one year has passed).

Snoqualmie Tribal Curriculum

In 2015, the WA State Legislature passed Senate Bill 5433 modifying the original 2005 legislation, now requiring the Since Time Immemorial: Tribal Sovereignty in Washington state or other tribally-developed curriculum be taught in all schools. In 2015 the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe began the process of developing their own curriculum to be taught in all schools in the Snoqualmie Tribe ancestorial lands.

Shop Inspired Natives

Eighth Generation is a Seattle-based art and lifestyle brand owned by the Snoqualmie Tribe. It was founded in 2008 by artist, activist, and educator Louie Gong (Nooksack), and was purchased by the Snoqualmie Tribe in 2019—making them the first tribe to own a lifestyle brand.

As the first Native-owned company to ever produce Native-designed wool blankets, Eighth Generation is a proud participant in the global economy.
